In the recent past, he was also involved and instrumental in drafting and implementing the Value Added Tax (VAT) legislation on the lines of the model law given by him. He was also the Legislative Draftsman and Consultant to Trinidad and Tobago on behalf of the United Nations Development Programme and a Legal Expert and Drafting Consultant to Namibia and Kenya on behalf of the Commonwealth.
